Guest klutsh Posted January 22, 2010 Report Posted January 22, 2010 Sorry, yes I was using u8230 style.
Guest danny1983 Posted January 22, 2010 Report Posted January 22, 2010 the sd ext not work still it requires repair before boot everytime, not sure why on beta 2, thanks
Guest jaybee444 Posted January 23, 2010 Report Posted January 23, 2010 Hi, this is very impressive work! I'd like to keep the T-mobile stuff but lose the "pink", can it be done? I noticed that all the pictures are in /system/framework/framework-res.apk/res/drawable so if I replaced only those files with the cupcake ones would I get what I want?
Guest psionandy Posted January 23, 2010 Report Posted January 23, 2010 the sd ext not work still it requires repair before boot everytime, not sure why on beta 2, thanks My SD doesn't need a repair... but i do have to fix mismatched application IDs in order to install new apps
Guest Neron Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Me too but only when using Core (U8230 Vanilla Style) I also had this issue using beta 2 with the U8230 style. Thanks.
Guest Richard_Arkless Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 (edited) If you had the possibility of adding google checkout then I would buy an ad-free account Edited January 25, 2010 by Richard_Arkless
Guest twe Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Going to be donating soon. Would be great if v1.9 you might be able to help make the mms work on your ROMs without modifying anything? http://android.modaco.com/content-page/297...oblems/page/80/
Guest robot1000 Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Do you think voice recognition could be installed?
Guest robot1000 Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 I've just noticed that the Dialpad within a call is from T-Mobile (pink feedback). Is it supposed to be like that?
Guest le_lutin Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 I've just noticed that the Dialpad within a call is from T-Mobile (pink feedback). Is it supposed to be like that? Dialpad on 1.7 is not pink.
Guest robot1000 Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Dialpad on 1.7 is not pink. I'm using the 1.8 beta and the incall dialpad is pink
Guest Paul Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Which 1.8 Beta core option tho? T-Mobile or U8230? P
Guest Paul Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 I can confirm the keypad is NOT pink on the U8230 edition! P
Guest robot1000 Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 (edited) I can confirm the keypad is NOT pink on the U8230 edition! P I'm using the Vanilla U8230 edition. It uses the U8230 keypad when I dial a number, but then switches to the T-Mobile keypad when I use it during a call Any idea what would be causing it? Edited January 26, 2010 by robot1000
Guest starkos Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Didn't use the stock rom long enough to know what the t-mob dialpad looks like lol, but if it is black with pink highlight when pressed, I think it has always been in all custom roms when using the dial pad during a phone call. Well it is in 1.7 U8230 anyway :)

Well it is in 1.7 U8230 anyway :) Found this review by paul on Youtube That's the T-Mobile Dialpad, which is exactly the same as the dialpad when I'm in a call. Strange why that would be in the custom rom, when after all it's based on the Vanilla ROM
Guest starkos Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Yea that's the dialer/key pad I have during a phone call. It is strange that it's only during a phone call that it appears, but I think all custom roms have elements of the t-mob rom in them (kernel?), hence the t-mob boot screen when phone is turned on, the mms issue of directing to t-mob as default and this...
