ROM is release 'as-is', there is NO garuantee that any, or none, of phone functions will work after flashing this ROM. (Anyway, it's working on my phone).

Build 23529 Based on 25th Jan 2010 OEM release

ROM specifications:

- ROM based WM 6.5.5 build 23529 (Thanks Da_G for the based ROM)

- OEM from 25th Jan 2010

Removed:

- Online Widget, Most ringtones, images, Connected Home, Filemanager, Games, Help, Midomi, Podcast, RSS reader, smart search, smartsync, Taskswitcher, themes, Smart Converter, Smart Memo, Video editor, Windows Live, marketplace, Myphone, Msn weather, Msn money, opera, application store, rich internet, games, youtube, adobe reader.

Preserved:

- Samsung tclock, Samsung Calendar, CHome, Photo Album, Recorder, Samsung Settings, Samsung MMS-SMS, phonebook, samsung keyboard, Touch Player, FM Radio, Blacktheme and Classic Blue theme and WM default themes.

Added:

- Removed Security warnings, SDK Certs, some modified registries.

- 5-column start menu

- Button 1 --> Mapped to Samsung Settings

- Button 1 hold --> Mapped to WM TaskMgr

- Button 2 --> No change

- Button 2 Hold --> Mapped to Samsung Calendar

- Timebomb patched

Bugs:

- Vertical scrollbar in samsung dialer. (Dialer set to default WM dialer).

- To use Samsung Dialer, set "Enabled" to 1 in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Phone\Skin.

- Let me know if there's others :)

I have not tested most of the cabs especially the cabs for Samsung apps. Please try if it works for your phone and post the results.

whats the diffrent between this and Khuanchai?

Well, some freewares and perhaps different style on Khuanchai's ROM.

It's up to u which ROM u preferred!

Just right-click on part1.rar and extract using winrar, winzip or 7zip.

it will extract to 1 file, just select PDA in octans will do.

so far i'm using 6.5.3, not sure abt 6.5.5. perhaps someone came post some results after trying... :)

can some tell me if this is safe or not recomemded, im still on 6.1 and i wanna uodate to this rom but also want to update the Phone Part and CSC from secany's rom release.

yup, it's safe. my work mate phone is also on wm6.1. he just update my rom (pda portion),no issues so far. :)

IF i am extracting part 1 separate and part 2 separate in same folder it is asking to replace the previous extract.can anybody show steps of how to extract two rar file into single extract. Thank you very KSTAN and other contributers

Edit :After downloading both part i extracted part 1 into folder which automatically gets the complete .nb0 file.Thanks to KSTAN.

just extract it to a folder then change the name

If I change the name of second extract wont it become second separate .nbo extract? :) OCTANS excepts only one .nbo file at a time.

Plz can anybody sipmlify the steps to make this two rar file into single .nbo extract file to be used in OCTANS.? Thank you all lovely buddy :)

After renaming second extract ,now i got two .nb0 files.

Plz anybody help me to get single .nb0 file from this two rar file.
