Simple issues with i920

Hi, I've just been stalking and reading for solutions for any of the problems i've had, but...here's couple of questions that i haven't seen anywhere.

1. Does anyone have a feedback/override/garbles issue using the mic adapter? i.e. when on a phone call, the other person won't here what i'm saying clearly(the mic is clipped onto my clothing but not covered), i come accross garbled/digitized, or when there is a noise(loud or even soft sometimes) the other party will get cut off...like the system is half-duplex.

2. Is there an app that can utilize location based services(other than TF3D or M2D2) and show, on the today screen or at least a launcher if not a plugin, the weather?
