Well that was a bit weird....I thought I knew what I was doing (a bit). So yesterday I decided to try a few things like FPU enabler and over clocking and also upgrading to SPB mobile shell 3.5.3. I always make backups with spb backup. All was going well but my mobile shell setting would not restore to 3.5.3 from my previous 3.5.1 and needing it as I had it set up to use it today I decided I'd just fully restore it and go back to 3.5.1, 3.5.3 seemed slow too. I had no problems with the overclocking to 900mhz or the FPU enabler that seemed really good. The restore would not complete due to out of memory errors so I did a hard reset and then restored again and that seemed to work fine. I was puzzled and pleased to see that I had somehow gained 10 to 12 mb of extra free ram woohoo but only today realized that the phone dialer is not there at all, neither red or green phone buttons do a thing at all! I can't even hard reset as there is no dialler to enter the code and pressing the button combination does not work now either. I'm sure I could ramble on for longer and give more details but I think I am allready getting rather boring :)

Any ideas would be much appreciated, Ta.

So I ran my restore again and it would not complete but it has brought back my dialer so I can work with it from there. I guess it was just a problem somewhere with SPB backup, seems odd that, I've never had any problems with it before. :)

in case that happens again, u can just take out the battery and put it back in again. then hold volum up and lock button with both dial and end buttons at same time to do hard reset. good luck.
