i8000 performance issues.

god i love the phone but its just so laggy (crashes). fair enough i custom rommed it so its just stock win 6.5.3 so the lag has dissapeared and its faster than anything.but ive learnt that theres no open gl es 2.0 support. so now i feel the phone is ancient ( after shelling out £399) and the overclocking plugin is still anemic. fair play id keep my phone if i knew it could eventually support open gl es 2.0 anyone know of this ? plus the ram usage is so silly. theres like so much ram kept by the system im guessing by the radio and 3g etc but they advertised it as 256mb ram. does anyone know any advancements in successful OC'ing of the omnia 2 ? i bought it to play fpsece and emulate stuff like gba etc. the phone is super sexy looking but i just feel its underachieving in the hardware department atm.

even if you are able to overclock it to 1Ghz, it's only a maximum of 25% improvement.

again, nothing is perfect, just don't expect games on this thing. Which is good for me, I didn't know graphics would be this bad but i didn't plan to play games anyway.

the graphics chip on Omnia2 is actually very good ...should be faster than Iphone3G on paper. But the samsung drivers and rom are so bad that this phone sometimes looks slower than 2years ago phones. What a pity
