Guest Amdathlonuk
As it says really. I've flashed my daughters phone with the Modaco 1.7 hoping to fix the above issue. She can't install ANYTHING to her phone either from the SD card or the Market. Everything downloads fine but it just gives the message 'installation unsuccessful'. However I noticed this only happens after a reboot? if she wipes and installs the rom again it will allow installation. As soon as the phone is rebooted, no go. Any ideas? something to do with EXT3 on the SD card???
Guest BigBearMDC
You'll have to repair the ext partition on your SD Card everytime you restart the phone. Go into recovery Mode -> Partition sd card -> repair sd ext. That should fix your problem. But you have to do this everytime you reboot the phone. I think the 1.8 Beta CustomROM fixes this. The autofix does not work in 1.8 (it is beta afterall) so you will have to carry on with the repair after each reboot. Still it is not that much of an inconvenience.
