SCH-i920 and XLINK BT - Locking problem

I am using my Samsung i920 with the XLINK BT. My problem is that my phone locks after it connects via the XLINK BT...thus preventing me from using my DTMF keypad to access system options or dial extentions once I am connected.

My question is, how do I turn off this feature? (BTW, my phone is not locked otherwise)
