Tasks reminder shuts screen?

I setup some tasks reminders today. For the first one I dismissed it straight away and it was fine.

For the second one I didn't do anything about it and when I tried to unlock the phone with the "lock" button, I couldn't turn the screen on. The power button couldn't turn the phone on either. I tried charging the phone, the screen doesn't even show the battery charging sign. I ended up pulling the battery out for a while, then I can turn the phone on. When the phone comes back on, the task reminder pops up again, I thought I'll leave it there and see what happens, same thing happens again, can't turn screen on again. I called my mobile using another phone, it seems to be ringing through, but my mobile did not ring. When I started my phone up again with the previous method, it says I have one missed call.

By the way I am using i8000 with Win Mo 6.5.

Anyone having this problem as well?
