Guest ippoP Posted January 23, 2010 Report Share Posted January 23, 2010 The title says it all. Once inserted I get the icon with headphones and Mic. Ear pieces work and the mid button is pause/play. But the + , the - and the microphone don't work. On an iPhone it works well. Is it a hardware compatibility issue or what? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've used the ones that came with my iphone with mine and I don't have a + or - button. It only has a single button. Haven't tried the mic but as far as the button goes pause and play work and to some extent the double and tripple click (admittedly intermittently) But not sure I was shocked to see it worked at all. Guest Iiro Posted January 23, 2010 Report Share Posted January 23, 2010 The new headphones supposedly have an "Apple chip" in them, but I guess someone could write an app that reads the incoming I/O commands.
