Guest DunKnow Posted January 24, 2010 Report Posted January 24, 2010 Hi, i wanted to share this font taken over from xda. The font is Segoe UI font. Enjoy :) I find the font neater and smaller. However if u need to display chinese, your original chinese font will not appear. I am not sure whether is it just a registry tweak, needed to get back the chinese font. Any ideas?ChangeFont_Segoe_UI.cab
Guest Wiseon3 Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 (edited) From what I saw, the respective cab makes a number of changes in the registry (HKLM\System\GDI\ and HKLM\System\GWE\ keys) to change all used font to Segoe UI (so Tahoma = Segoe UI, MS Serif = Segoe UI, Helvetica = Segoe UI and so on). If you want to reverse the changes, without uninstalling, all you would have to do is change all these values to the corresponding ones. Regards. Edited January 25, 2010 by Wiseon3
Guest DunKnow Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 I am wondering whether how can i have two languages at one go. If i did not install this font, i was able to display chinese and english. However after installing i was able to view english only, the chinese only appears square boxes to me. Is there anyway to solve this?
