Guest Bantumi Posted January 26, 2010 Report Share Posted January 26, 2010 (edited) Hi there, I'm trying to find the source, but Amon Ra mentioned somewhere that this is a known bug and that your dalvik is wiped correctly, the wrong message is shown on screen. You can usually tell because the hero takes a bit/lot (depending on your number of apps) longer to boot. Guest venturerider Posted January 26, 2010 Report Share Posted January 26, 2010 Yes, the wipe is working despite the error message. If you want to fix it, boot your phone into Recovery Mode, then adb shell, and have a look at the script /sbin/wipe. I commented out the lines that were causing the error.
