Doubt: How to backup my current ROM?

Hello everyone,

I just bought a new Omnia II and I have a question:

Is it possible to backup my current original ROM? I want to do that for two reasons:

1) A safety measure in case new ROMs don't work as expected;

2) I bought my phone in Brazil and I have one year warranty from Samsung but I'm pretty they would check the ROM in case anything goes wrong.

I had a WM device called Eten X500+ and flashed the rom several times but I've never had to backup the original ROM since ETEN support site provided latest ROMs download links.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
