I've the same problem.

I've also checked these tools, but only WaveSecure was installed.

The others not.

Kinda strange...

Did you wipe AFTER installing the ROM instead of before?

I did two tests. First was install of update without wipe, here wifi tether wasn't installed.

Titanium, WaveSecure and Wired Tether I also had installed before update.

Second test was doing a fresh wipe and then installing ROM and here only WaveSecure was installed.

Neither Titanium, nor Wired Tether & Wifi Tether were installed.

And I surely baked them in, they are in ROM also. I looked into the zip file.

Is there any chance of seeing a pre-configured Dropbear ala the Modaco rom in the kitchen? I can't seem to get it to work on stock Cyanogen.

Thank you for fix it.

I was confused, because the last time I updated it worked perfectly.

Please explain how I install this. Simply by recovery flashing the zip?

Two questions here -

Can Titanium Backup take apps backed up while using a ROM using A2SD and restore them on a ROM that doesn't?

Does MyBackUp Pro do automatic backups? I lost 5 days of text's cause I had an issue with installing a theme and then a Nandroid wouldn't boot back up :D

Losing your texts really sucks, sorry that happened. :-(

MyBackupPro lets you schedule backups. You can store them on the SD card, or online. I hadn't bothered scheduling any yet, but I always run a full backup with both MBP and Titanium before messing with flashing anything. Probably a good idea to set one up.

I can't comment on Titanium's A2SD performance, since I don't use A2SD. There's a whole thread by the program's author on this site, you might scan through it or ask.

I prefer Titanium over MyBackUp, but I might be biased since Paul includes it in the ROMs. It's ripping fast with the paid/donated version.

What issue would this have caused/fixed? I had to wipe and reinstall yesterday morning as I was getting the continuous looping in logcat on boot when I flashed the ROM back on...

To ask once more -

I did a black Bar for Cyanogen ROM

Modaco ist themeable....

How do I install this, same as I would a ROM? Thanks :D

No that hadn't anything to do with boot looping.

Addons like Wifi Tether baked in weren't installed.

This was fixed.

Hmmm...so if you had just been flashing each ROM over the previous beta, you wouldn't have noticed. Are the add-ons in the final any different than the add-ons on the latest 5.0.2 ROM? My N1 seems pretty stable and fully functioning with the "pre-fixed" ROM flashed over, but I didn't wipe. I don't think I want to mess with something that's working at this point, unless there's some strong benefit to doing so.

The only issue I'm having is that MMS messages don't appear to be getting through to AT&T. Verizon and TMo phones are getting them, but AT&T never does.

Andy, the black bar post you quoted is a zip file that is for use with stericsons Metamorph app. I personally haven't been able to get that one to install for me.

I've used the one from here though http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=617336

works 100% with CM 5.0.2 - zip file, just put on SDcard and apply using recovery same way as you do a ROM.

I don't think they changed, but you're right if you had just flashed over the prevoius beta you wouldn't have noticed.

Mine is also stable, but Wifi Tether still doesn't work. Dunno why, thought that would have been fixed.

I got WiFi tether to work by downloading the apk directly from the google code site. Then when it ran the first time, there's an option in the menu to reinstall the binaries. I did that, and it's worked ever since.

Any Chance we can get the Desire Keyboard added to th Cyanogen Kitchen? For us "Donating" folks at least?

Posted (edited)

I'd heard Cyanogen has now put the undervolted Kernel into his ROM on XDA - is it in the kitchen version yet? Might give a new bake a go if it is... :D

Hugs - Dayz xx

Edit - scratch that - I don't think he has put it in his ROM - think its just compatible :D Gonna give it a go...

If you give it a go, please keep us informed.

I'm curious about this.

Thanks.

Loaded it fine yesterday, but had a few wifi drops so swapped back - didn't give it much of a go to be hoonest as I wwas going somewhere and didn't want a glitchy set up. Might try again in the week. :D

I see Cyanogen is on 5.0.3 - will watch kitchen for that update :D
