Packed some OmniaII original apps for ultralite ROM users

As benfited a lot from here Modaco.com, it is time for me to do some minor contribution to this nice forum. :)

I has seen some of ultralite ROM users with the demands of some Samsung OmniaII original apps and some of apps in the ROM does not work normally.

So I had decided to pack some of the original apps into CAB installation file for all bro & sis in order for yours to continue enjoy sticking with ultralite ROM.

In order to get the most newest Samsung OmniaII original apps, I had first flahsed my Singapore OmniaII with secany L5 ROM, thank you bro secany.

Then from there, I packed most (if not all) original apps out of it into installation CAB file.

For everyone info, I am using KSTAN "WM 6.5.5 i8000_23518 Lite ROM (Eng) - Timebomb patched" just the PDA ROM part

with Singapore official WM6.5 J9 ROM. Below the screenshot,

The first one to share is, Samsung Titanium.

02/03/2010 update - I had repack Titanium and rename it to "Titanium OmniaII for Lite ROM"

From the new name, you can tell it uses Titanium 480x800 cpr file instead of Samsung own SPlugin cpr file.

As my usual usage liking, It has music linked to Media Player, Clock to TClock, text to SMS-MMS and favorites to Internet Explorer.

Installed this, will fixed some Lite ROM TClock/Alarm not working, Music opening old WMP, favorites not working as Opera not included.

It'll installed Bubble Breaker, Dice & Solitaire games with Games folder icon auto to Device memory.

Do you have Samsung taskmanager? I have a cab but although it works it does not show the icons of the active application but just a black image.

Similarly although I have samsung phonebook originally in my ROM (also KSTAN 6.5.3) favorite does not work. Does your works?

Have flashed a custom rom and would love to install the samsung widgets on my omnia2 i8000. Have searched everywhere, but all the ones I downloaded only cover quarter of my screen. Can someone please post a can of the original samsung widgets?

Nevermind thanks. I belive the only solution is that a french user dump is JA5 rom with the sorg utility so i can extract the mui.

1. Where did you download the Samsung TClock app?

2. Which ROM did you're use it in?

For me currently I'm trying out Khuanchai classic WM6.5 ROM build 21889A5 (31 Jan 2010).

The Samsug TClock included in it work normally.

Yes I've notice that too when I really used it on Lite ROM.

Hmm... something must be missing. I'll need to flashed back to official full ROM to work it out, if could.
