USB cable connection to pc "loose" ?

Hi fellow O2 users, I've been having this annoying usb cable problem since I got my O2. Whenever I connect the phone to the pc with the usb cable, the connection is "loose". As in, it connects fine but if i move the phone the slightest bit, it disconnects from the pc and then reconnects again. It doesn't happen with the charger though. Anyone with the same issue?

Please check either at USB or mini USB site. If at mini USB site, bring it to Samsung Service Center for warrantty claim.

If the charger feel secure the problem may be the usb cable, As these are fairly cheap to buy I would get hold of another one to check if the fault is the cable you have or the device.

Only of the secon d cable is not secure then consider taking it to a service center.

It's unlikely to be the device though.

i do have this problem sometime.

the phone is still receiving power and its charging. but the active sync show disconnected.

the cable connectors on both end look fine.

it will get reconnect back if:

1. i unplug the usb end at the PC side and connect it back.

2. i unplug the micro usb end and reconnect it back

3. soft reset the phone.

sometime, i need to repeat this a few times.

Yes, this is exactly what i'm facing and i have no choice but to tether using bluetooth as it uses less power than wifi. I'll be getting a new cable soon and if the problem still persists, i'll make a visit to samsung service center :)
