That is great news! XDA developers support was one of the reasons I was thinking about an HD2 instead of O2...

I'm new to PPC world, the Omnia2 being my first one so I don't know much how XDA forum works.

But what is "XDA developers support"? I mean, if the main XDA developers don't own a Omnia2 how they can give any support?

If the "trend" is to buy HTC phones, I doubt they'll change their mind just couse of a forum section.

personally, i prefer Modaco. XDA just want to get more numbers.

Evidently, we all prefer Modaco since the best support for Omnia 2 is here. But we don't mind other people jumping in on the wagon.

Overall it's good news, I hope they will continue this support for other great phones not just Omnia 2, but for now that looks just like a mood swing, to be honest.

Many top boffins live at XDA, there is a large crossover between members here and there so it is all good.

Same here. But HD2 is to big, no stylus (capacitive screen) and no front camera.

That are great news.

if you've owned an HTC. then you would know why xda devs is great. when i switched over to omnia 2, this forum had alot less in it than XDA does for their phones.

and thats still the case, yes we have tons of people working on roms and cooking, etc. but not as much as they have on xda.

and yes. cant wait for android ported.

O2 doesnt really have a stylus either, at least not built in like normal ppcs.

I think having more support for Omnia2 in different websites is good but as someone said xda just want more visits. Omnia2 and Samsung are getting more popular each day, even more Samsung is said to have sold about the same quantity of wmphones as HTC this year. So I am sure Samsung popularity is going to grow a lot.

Xda support for O2 is good news but I still prefer Modaco where everything for O2 started.
