Guest dawabz94 Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 Tested, Looks promissing but too early release - not for a daily usage No market protected/paid apps I can live without bluetooth, a2sd and dhcp but need at least trackball and cam :) Just donates a few coins on this ([2.1] AychTeeSee's Vanilla Cupcake ROM) Hoping to see more coming from you ThankS !
Guest Marcony0 Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 when the trackball and ap2sd is working i will give it a try, seems tempting, performance and smoothness is my personal ultimate on my phone :) i don't like to be faster than my phone.
Guest IZIIZI Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 had to go back to MCR... Couldnt get access to internet
Guest dawabz94 Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 had to go back to MCR... Couldnt get access to internet strange, when I added my APN, I could go to the net with no issue :)
Guest soulasass1n Posted February 2, 2010 Report Posted February 2, 2010 i know this build doesnt have trackball support, judging by other posts in this thread. is it odd in that case that my trackball seems to be working fine?

I don't mean to offense but are you sure you wiped then applied ? :)
Guest soulasass1n Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 certainly did. i always do a full wipe, even if its not required
Guest dawabz94 Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 (edited) certainly did. i always do a full wipe, even if its not required That's strange I also always do a full wipe - even if not needed - I like thinking the device is completelly cleaned before starting to use I don't know what's wrong then Why not try this one ([2.1] AychTeeSee's Vanilla Cupcake ROM - GSM) Or wait a bit for latest update that is expected for tomorrow ? I'm quite happy with it Edited February 3, 2010 by dawabz94
Guest AychTeeSee Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 All VanillaDroid users- I highly suggest you use version 3.0 of my Cupcake ROM, as it has more working features and less bugs. As of version 3.0, it's as clean and fast as VanillaDroid. http://android.modaco.com/content/htc-hero...upcake-rom-gsm/ Thanks! Andrew
