I hate the wallpaper changing way on Omnia 2 with this "all pictures listing". Anyone know how to limit the wallpaper searching list to one or a few directories?

Hello man!

CTRL+C --> CTRL+V from http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-verizo...d-programs-faq/ (very usefull topic for the ones who have i8000 or b7610 like me)

Photo Album: exclude unwanted folders

* Open any registry editor, go to HKLM/Software/TecAce/PhotoAlbum/ExcludeFolders

Add a new string value for every folder you want to exclude, you must give them the name of 000, 001, 002,... etc

As string data you must add the folder address, you must separate folder with the symbol \

Example: If you want to exclude Program files folder, you have to make a new string value like "001" and you have to add \My storage\Program files

Notice that you have to clean the thumbnails that Photo Album creates! You can use the clean option of SKTools

Next time use the search.

You have any idea how to exclude pictures that are under My Device\My Documents\

I had try including inside the registry with "\My Documents\" and even"\My Device\My Documents\" but neither work. They are still included.

Hello man!

Next time use the search.

I used it. :) It was found nothing. Thx for the reply. I'll try.

Update:

I tried. It's really not working. I found strings like "InStorageFolder001-002..." and "001-002" etc. I tried the InStorageFolderXXX to exclude folders from the storage card, but it's not working. I tried exclude folder on storage card with XXX format ("\Storage card\Program Files"), but this isn't working either. Yes, I cleaned out the photos.1, photos.2 files from this directories, but the photoalbum creates it again, in the folders what I was excluded!

So we're still waiting for a solution!

My registry looks like this and it's working for me

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\TecAce\PhotoAlbum\ExcludeFolders]

"003"="\\Program Files"

"002"="\\My Storage\\Program Files"

"001"="\\Storage Card"

"000"="\\MUSIC"

I tried this "\\" version. Nothing changed. At the wallpaper changer and in the photoalbum still use the excluded directories and still create the thumbnail files.

I did a soft reset too. nothing changed.

You need to do a clean with sktools, or delete some photoalbum dat files in aplication data.

You know how to exclude \\My Device and \\My Documents? I can't seem to include that.

Maybe that's the problem... I always install my registry tweaks after a hard reset or flashing a new ROM so I have no such problems

I'll try it tomorrow when I flash to a new ROM
