Guest tmp_do Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 anyone buit device profile or only non-orking loxk available?
Guest xaueious Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Don't deviate too far from the kernel options. Some changes, even to debug lines, can make the boot.img unbootable no matter which of the 3 deployments you try.

Guest xaueious Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 (edited) By bootable, I mean being recognized by fastboot as a boot image and actually starting Android. If you flash a boot.img that is not recognized by fastboot, my experiences are that you see the penguin and end up with no boot. Just saying that it's possible to mess up the config. When I was building my kernels, I first fastboot boot to see if it works. If it boots, then it's safe to flash. Unless my liquidmkboot line is wrong. You can tell me otherwise phh. Edit: is panic=10 necessary? You can define it in config already I'm used a repack script... I guess I should DIY. Edited July 24, 2010 by xaueious
