I liked the Omnia, but the Omnia II is a much better phone when you conisder the memory, screen, and WM 6.5 (plus it has a built in stylus)

The ONLY thing I miss from my i910 is the D-pad/optical mouse. The "cube" button is a big downgrade. The lack of auto-rotation is an easy fix.

Lots of big pluses - 3.5 headphone jack, bigger screen, much faster, standardized charging/sync cable, built in stylus, you can remove the SD card without taking out the battery...the list goes on.

My Omnia2 without a stylus. Agree Omnia2 is a better hardware but wm6.5 made it worse. No more support on wm6.1 yet Officially still on wm6.5 IJ9. The first wm6.5 I can live with was JA5. Yet I have intermittently GPRS problem but can't send to Samsung because of JA5 which not flashed by them.

I would recommend to purchased Omnia2 with Scany's JA5 ROM. Modeco here have better support then Samsung on software.

Note that he said Verizon. Our Omnia 2 (i920) does have a built-in stylus

I agree, the loss of the D-pad/optical mouse is the worst thing. I also agree that the "cube" button is a waste of space.

Omnia 2 by a mile. Bigger, better screen that's more touch-friendly. Samsung-skinned apps >>> WM apps. Micro-USB conection. Better radio strength than Omnia I.

As others have mentioned, one downside is lack of a d-pad, but I got over it pretty quick.

The cube is just an eye candy, how i wish it was replaced by a optical mouse. Overall i would still get Omnia II, the performace would be much much better than Omnia I. And wat attracts me to Omnia II is the AMOLED screen :) i was amazed how the colours look, but too bad, 65k colour only if not it will be better.
