GPS fails to detect any satellites

My GPS was working fine until saturday, but from sunday it fails to detect any satellite.

Usually it'll detect around 10 satellites and fix around 4 to 5 satellites.but now it detects 0 satellites.

My current GPS settings,

GSP port - COM7

Baud rate - 4800

manage GPS automatically - ON

Exnable XTRA - ON

Validity of XTRA data is for 6 days.

Any help?

Your settings are OK.

Did you try to soft reset your phone?

Same thing sometimes happens to me with Garmin. Don't know if there is not enough RAM (with heavy usage there is not much free RAM left) but restarting phone always helps.

I hope your'e not trying inside house with cloudy weather :-)

edit: you can try to update your XTRA data. I read somewhere that even couple of hours "old" data can be problematic.

I had a similar problem - GPS worked well for a few days after I bought the phone, then suddenly it stopped seeeing any satelites. Service was the only option. Actually the phone was serviced two times in a row. First time they told me that they upgraded firmware and it should correct problem but it didn't, so I delivered phone back to service, where they changed ROM again, and this time it worked like a charm.

After doing a hard reset , GPS started to work fine. Strange .
