I8000, L, T, N wondering if....

im a mod over at samsungomnia.org... just had a thought i wanted to share here with all the great minds on this board...

Ive been wondering something...ive checked dimensions and specs of all of the omnia 2 gsm models...all are the same unlike the L was longer on the 900... well on to my thought...i was browsing australias samsung site for specs and saw a neat little tidbit...they have 2 different settings or umts bands in their phones depending on the provider...hmmmmmheres the specs from the site... GSM&EDGE Band 850 / 900 / 1,800 / 1,900

UMTS 900 / 1,900 / 2,100* or 850 / 1,900 / 2,100* (1)

im just wondering if this is just a flash to open up the channels?Huh?? i just dont see samsung going to all the trouble again like the 900 900L bugger... maybe im wrong but i did read where a l user flashed a 8000 rom and it worked as in his 3g... need some rom dumps and some cooks to get on this.....

i know the internal specs are needed to be sure but..... who knows nowadays to save money.....

im looking for opinions....comments?? plausable???

btw ill even be the guinea pig and flash a 8000L stock rom to my 8000 to see....
