phone keep hanging

hi people, having some problem with my i8000. it seems to be kinda laggy and keeps hanging. after loading windows, the screen just hang there and not responding. anyone got any advice? +_+

i'm using wm 6.5 the official update from nps

hmm need some urgent help people.. my phone seems to be keep strucking after loaded windows. it just got struck at today's page and unable to change page. its super lag to do anything to it and the batt seems to be very hot also.. anyone got any idea what's going on?

Have you tried hard resetting your phone? If you are stuck at loading anyway, then nothing to lose. I can only think of two things causing it, either software conflict if you installed software, or if not maybe its faulty hardware.

Has anyone had faulty hardware that caused lagginess, that they returned and found the new one did not have it? My girlfriend is having similar problems to the original poster but it isn't hanging at boot as of now, just opening things and such. I just hard resetted hers a day ago and its already doing it again.

hmm juz done a hard reset.. it seems to be back to normal.. thanks ZeroXtreme.. now gonna find the programs to add back
