Very good/Bad Battery life??!?! Incorrect Polling??

So what im asking is that anyone in the programming world here know where to find battery polling specs in the Software/firmware??

I know that Htc has crippled some devices semi-intentionally before, (see touch pro Canada before battery fix) and wonder if Samsung had done the same accidentally or not.

If you swing the polling numbers too far to the left the battery drains quickly and you get an incorrect read of battery charge.

Too far to the right and the battery looks better than it really is but again a false read. (leads to phone turning off at 25% or so with no warning)

Ive looked everywhere in this device, but reg edits seem to do nothing for me.

So if someone could point me to where this is hiding in the omnia ii I would be very appreciative, as I have a good friend willing to tweak it for me.... if i can find it.
