Guest Peter sf Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Just checking; when you say you need to have ERE27 it doesnt matter if you have ERE27 + HighMem SuperBoot before applying the MCR right? EDIT: The easiest way was of course to test it out and I can confirm it works superb. ;) Thanks alot Yup, flashed it over a kitchen ERE27 with highmem - workes perfectly.
Guest huey-t Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 Yup, flashed it over a kitchen ERE27 with highmem - workes perfectly. Yep same, working here too. Love the ROM with highmem kernel hack and MCR1.5 b2 addon. So much faster than when I first got the phone. That was a sluggish wreck! Thanks Paul ;)
Guest Mantisen Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 Yep same, working here too. Love the ROM with highmem kernel hack and MCR1.5 b2 addon. So much faster than when I first got the phone. That was a sluggish wreck! Thanks Paul ;) It's a bit of an overkill to call the stock Nexus One "a sluggish wreck" isn't it? :D (Sorry for the OT)
Guest AndyCr15 Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 Any news on a kitchen for this ROM? I'm still on the Cyanogen one, but would move if this has Apps2SD in the kitchen ;) Thanks.
Guest Mantisen Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 Just flashed beta 2 ;) Works like a charm, solved my issues with the phone rebooting when I connect USB and seems to have solved some weird WiFi issue that I had on beta 1 (couldn't reconnect if I left home and came back home)
Guest AndyCr15 Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 Coming tomorrow! ;) Woo Hoo :D Thanks.
Guest kenniy Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 flashed MCR 1.5 ..from beta one..now on beta 2..but on both cases su doesn't seem to be working right again..any application that requires au just hangs at the su black screen and eventuallu gives a force close.. any help how I can fix this?..I hv tried reflashing from stock the mcr beta 2..still same..I pretty much can't do any su operation anymore as I have removed the old list in the process of trioubleshooting..now I can't add again!..thx
Guest kenniy Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 Enable USB debugging! P *scratching head*now i totally feel stupid!..thanks boss..you are the man!..works 100% now!!!
Guest SAAAAAANDWICHES! Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 Does anyone know of a good black bar theme for MCR? I love this little rom and do not want to go CM or Enom's Rom's just to get themed.
Guest bakano Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 what is it ? what is what? lol i'm really looking forward to the kitchen coming soon!! =D
Guest pwnvds Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 For what it's worth, I applied this update to enable wifi tethering again, on top of Paul's highmem+superboot update, and it seems to work flawlessly. So now I have the new Android update, additional RAM, and the wireless tethering kernel, which I confirmed works beautifully. I may have already posted this and forgot, but wanted to give my feedback just in case. Thanks Paul.
Guest Formel-LMS Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 With this rom I've got the problem that my gmails doesn't sync correct automatically. With cyanogen is this okay. Same on Hero with the MCR Builds. Paul, do you make changes in the synchronizations?
Guest Paul Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 No... what do you mean doesn't sync correctly? I use gmail and it's fine for me? P
Guest xkonni Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 No... what do you mean doesn't sync correctly? I use gmail and it's fine for me? P syncs fine here too, except picasa. but thats a different problem.
Guest soulpilot Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 Downloadin Now .......thanx Paul !!!
Guest AndyCr15 Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 Great. :-) Any ETA on Apps2SD included in the kitchen? (Assuming it will... )
Guest Paul Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 Yeah, i'll drop that in later today. P
Guest kwandds Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 How does this rom compare with the Custom Kitchen cooked rom with CM5-Beta4 ERE27 V2?
Guest Formel-LMS Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 I mean that my Emails to the gmail app don't come automatic. I must synchronize them manually.
Guest Paul Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 Formel-LMS, strange, are all the options checked in your sync settings? P
Guest Formel-LMS Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 Yeah, they are. Now I try to bake the ROM new. Make a wipe, install the new Kitchen 1.5 Version (Wow, thanks man!), play with Titanium Donate and try again.
