Hi, I am new to the syncing options with Windows Mobile. Does anyone know how to sync the phone but have the desktop overwrite the information on the phones? If I remove appointment from the phone, then it messes up my desktop calendar. Plus, when I use the Windows Mobile Desktop Manager, the dates that sync up with my phone are one day off (an appointment for 02/02/2010 is at 02/03/2010). Ahhh…is there any better program that I can use to sync my desktop information with my phone?

Any one knows why my calendar dates are pulled into a 2 day span when they only show up as 1 day slots in Outlook? In fact does anyone know of a good way to sync my calendar information with this Omnia 2?

I use the Samsung New PC Studio to move dates from Outlook into the Samsung calendar, but the problem is how the dates translate after I sync the Samsung calendar with the phone.

Have you tried using ActiveSync/Mobile Device Center? The Samsung software is redundant here, since Windows has its own tools for syncing with WM phones.

Yes, I have tried using ActiveSync/Mobile Device Center first. It was because of the dates that synced off by one day that made me try the Samsung software. One big problem is that if I delete something off the computer, it get but back on the phone, or if I take something off the phone, it get put back on the computer.

I just looking for a software that has more controle on the sync options (computer overwrites mobile / mobile overwrites computer).

If you set up both your phone and desktop to sync with your exchange email all places will show the same information, regardless of where you make changes from.
