Guest NewForce Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 (edited) 03/31 update, I've repacked the 3 Titanium's. This time with Focus row picture icon re-located to the left of the screen and then follow by the textdescriptons. Hope that some of you may like it. Enjoy! Files, For Official and others rom master lite rom, Titanium_OmniaII_P_L_mode_for_English_ROM.rar For Sonblack & Khuanchai lite rom, Titanium_OmniaII_P_L_mode_for_SB_KC_Lite_rom.rar For Chinese rom, Titanium_OmniaII_P_L_mode_for_Chinese_ROM.rar Screenshoots for Official & Lite English rom, Screenshots for Chinese date display, ============================================================================ 03/25 update, I've repacked 3 Titanium's with "Clock & Text" moved to top & 2nd position. 1 for other Official and others rom master lite rom, 1 for Khuanchai lite rom Another 1 for Chinese rom users with bigger Chinese date space smaller font to display all characters like 2010年,12月25日 Files, For Official and others rom master lite rom, Titanium_OmniaII_P_L_mode_for_Lite___Official_rom.rar For Khuanchai lite rom, Titanium_OmniaII_P_L_mode_for_KhuanChai_Lite_rom.rar For Chinese rom, Titanium_OmniaII_P_L_mode_for_Chinese_ROM.rar Screenshoots for Official & Lite English rom, Screenshots for Chinese date display, ============================================================================ I've make 2 Titanium package, "Titanium OmniaII P+L mode for Khuanchai Lite ROM". This one intended to use in Khuanchai Lite rom. "Titanium OmniaII P+L mode for KSTAN Ultra Lite ROM". This one intended to use in KSTAN Ultra Lite rom. From the files name, all of you can tell this both new Titanium pack come with Titanium 480x800 for Portrait & 800x480 for Lanscape mode. Since the beginning of using of any PPC/WM devices, I had always tried my best not to put too much burden that compromising system memory & RAM. So I had always try to use simple app. That's the reason why I like "Windows Titanium" which is extreme light load to system RAM and still look good. So I had decided to spend some time to understand Titanium cpr file. On this pack, I had made use of OmniaII original SPlugin_480x800.cpr, re-edited & recomplied it to Titanium_480x800.cpr and Titanium 800x480. With it, all of us the OmniaII users can have the original Titanium running in Portrait or Landscape mode. I personally hope all of you like it and enjoying using it. ;) As my usual usage liking, it has music linked to Media Player, Clock to TClock, text to SMS-MMS and favorites to Internet Explorer. Installed this, will fixed some Lite ROM TClock/Alarm not working, Music opening old WMP, favorites not working as Opera not included. "Titanium OmniaII P+L mode for Khuanchai Lite ROM". Use this pack if you're using Khuanchai Lite rom. Titanium_OmniaII_P_L_mode_for_KhuanChai_Lite_ROM.rar "Titanium OmniaII P+L mode for KSTAN Ultra Lite ROM". Use this pack if you're using KSTAN Ultra Lite rom. Guest NewForce Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 I try to install it but Windows says the program haven't sufficient system permissions to be installed. Hmm... might be different rom issue. Which rom are you using? Myself on Khuanchai A5 Lite rom.
Guest javichampi Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 (edited) I´m using KSTAN's 23515 Rom. Anyway, I'm going to install another rom now. I'll try your cab and post results. Maybe the problem is another plugin or mod that I have intalled before your program. EDIT: Confirmed, it doesn't work on another just flashed rom(KSTAN 28205) Edited February 6, 2010 by javichampi

Guest c3p9 Posted February 13, 2010 Report Posted February 13, 2010 NewForce, from your post I understood that installing this cab would fix my titanium without damaging the additional plugins installed (this would be the reason for changing from Splugin to Titanium right?). Well, I'm running kstans "WM 6.5.5 i8000_23529 Lite ROM (Eng) - Timebomb patched" and after I installed the kstans cab I lost all my plugins. Additionally I cannot enable/disable them with CHome Editor. Now I tried to reinstall the original Titanium and it didn't work. My CHome is crazy. I need some help to fix my device.... in any case thanks for the great efforts to fix Samsung's crappy sw. c3p9

Once installed, it will overwrite whatever plugin panel you'd installed. You'll need to install all additional after install mine. The proper sequence should be, 1. Un-install all additional plugin panel that you had installed, then restart device. 2. Install my version of titanium. 3. Re-install all additional plugin panel.
Guest c3p9 Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 kstan, I actually did a hard reset just to test out your titanium fix and it didn't work. Followed the procedure very carefully. Could this be a problem as I'm using 23529 instead of 23518? Also one more question - does CHome Editor v.16b (from xda) works with your modified titanium? one last comment... couldn't Microsoft make this Titanium editing any worse??? :D btw... thanks a lot for all your efforts! It's a ninjas work :D
Guest NewForce Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 Yes, Showaco CHome Editor Beta 1.6 is working on the KSTAN rom I'm using now. Below the screenshot for the voicemail panel I've just added.

Could this be a ROM type issue? My ROM is a little newer than yours (also from kstan).... One more info: When trying to install "CLauncher, CSettings and AT Contacts" they all give me a "ATPPluginInstaller.exe" error. btw... can you use MMS on this ROM? I haven't been able to set up an MMS account :-\ Edited February 16, 2010 by c3p9

I haven't been able to set up an MMS account :-\ Oh.. oh.. I found what's going wrong now. I had actually forgotten to disable both Titanium*.cpr file "Read" attribute in my Titanium installation package. That's why you had trouble installing additional panels, as panel insatllation file couldn't add panel script into the Titanium cpr file. I had just re-uploaded my re-edited Titanium I"nstallation on top post. Please re-download it again. Sorry for all the inconvenient causes.

Guest jlccarv Posted March 21, 2010 Report Posted March 21, 2010 seriously good cab! thanks NewForce. would you know how to select which Titanium plug-in is in focus? I want to have the clock in the middle of the plug-in list and for it to be in focus when I wake up the device. this will have the effect of not wasting all that space at the top of the screen and also showing more plug-ins at a glance... any input would be much appreciated. cheers
Guest NewForce Posted March 21, 2010 Report Posted March 21, 2010 You're welcome jlccarv! To do what you need there's 2 way, 1. Install MortScript 4.2 and then Showaco CHome Editor 1.6Beta. Run CHome Editor, click to highlight SClock and then press right side panel UP or DOWN to move SClock to 3rd position and then press Save Order to save it and exit Chome Editor. 2. If you already installed a Registry editing app and you're familiar using this tool, 1st disable Windows Default in Settings > Item on Today. Then go to HKLM > Software > Microsoft > CHome, Change ExtensibilitXML string, SClock position to 3rd position. Change Plugins string, SClock position to 3rd position. Re-enable Windows Default in Settings > Item on Today.
Guest jlccarv Posted March 21, 2010 Report Posted March 21, 2010 thanks for the reply. but that only changes the order of the plugins. it doesn't change which plugin is in focus. I want the clock five down on the plugin list and for it to be in focus when i unlock the screen or whenever i go back to the home screen etc. i'll do some research and post here if i find a fix...
