Does ACER_Liquid_2.xxx means that it is Android 2.x rom?

I saw many leak roms and just want to make sure these roms are based on Android 2.x or not?

Or just Acer's internal version number, doesn't mean anything?

I thought the big change of version number should give us some surprise , it seams I'm wrong.

Its still Android v1.6 but your right... Such a jump in the revision numbering would normally indicate some big changes but that is not the case for the end product. In fact in my opinion I have found all the leaked ROMs to have such small changes. Acer sure do have a strange numbering system.
