Can anybody tell, me where can i found the Original 6.5.3 ROM for i8000 ? Just like JA5, so nothing removed! I like Neo_Lite, but i'm missing a lots of program (for examle.:midomi) Thanks

None of the 6.5.x doesn't mean a program that gives the official 6.5 because 6.5.x try to have better performance of Ram memory and other... ;)

Samsung releases so many phones, more than any other company, because of this it seems like they are very very slow in releasing updates for there released phones, will samsung PLEASE release a new firmware update for the i8000 ASAP. the phones with 6.5 has been on sale since November.

I wonder if Samsung will release WM6.5.3 to us. Sony Erricson X2 is set to be give offical update to WM6.5.3. Lets hope so.

I'm in the same situation. I would really love to upgrade to WM 6.5.3, but none of the ROMs available at the moment try to preserve the original Omnia II's functions. As weird as it sounds, I like the TouchWiz homescreen, since I have adapted the main page to my everyday needs. I also love apps like Midomi, Samsung's clock and calendar applications, the recorder, photo album, podcasts app... They can be slow and clunky at times, but I just like them.

I just don't really like LITE ROMs. I feel like I'm losing features with them that I've paid for when I bought the phone.

Of course I could just cook a ROM myself... if I only knew how to :D

I'm sure someone will come up with an excellent ROM for my needs though. I'll be patient and wait ;)
