What should i do

i have just done a hard reset on my phone. still running the original ROM (6.5). i want a good home screen and UI, what's the best. what is the best messaging program, media player and such. iv tried many variations but get fed up because the run slow or make it crash, any ideas would be great.

There is no such thing as 'best' my friend... as 'best' is based on opinion and not fact! You either like something or you don't.. no one here can tell you what is best for you. We all have to try things and decide for ourselves. The ROM forums are full of people asking which is the 'best' ROM? Best for you may be worst for me... ;)

I can at least recommend that you try SPB Mobile Shell 3.5. Have you tried it? It's quite stable and probably the best out there at the moment, but it is heavy on battery consumption.

i have tried it but it seemed to freeze quite alot. i may give it another go.
