Photo Viewer Problems

Every time I load up the photo viewer does not remember, it is empty then it starts scanning all photos which takes a few minutes to load up all photos, which is a pain, I have removed all entry’s from the photo viewer folder but this did not fix the problem.

Hopefully someone can help.

HKLM\Software\TecAce\PhotoAlbum\ExcludeFolders

Put sequentially numbered entries with string values of the folder paths you don't want included. Once you're done updating that, in file explorer, go to \Application Data\PhotoAlbum.Data and delete the files there. Reopen photo viewer and it'll update with just the images in the paths you haven't excluded. Kind of a pain, and samsung should have made this easier, but it works and you only have to do it once.
