I've read the same thing in about a dozen different threads, but haven't seen one solution:

G-sensor games (Resco Bubbles, Snakes, Teeter and Marble Worlds 2) don't work with the SCH-i920 version of the Omnia 2.

With an out of the box, completely unmodified Omnia 2, if you run Bubbles a small empty text box appears with "OK" in the corner. Click it and it closes. The first solution I read suggested that I install the Samsung SDK dll (smi_wm_pro_sdk_redist_2_1_0.cab) and soft restart. I tried it... nothing. Next, I found a whole discussion thread on installing the HTC SKD files. In fact, someone has assembled a cab file that installed all the correct drivers for an i8000 along with the game Teeter. From reading the thread, it sounded like the problem was solved, but when I installed the cab and restarted I ran into a new problem. While the programs would run, right-left axis was reversed. Up-down was correct, but there was no way that I could see to correct for the reversed right-left input. In tracking it down, I found several other users of the i-920 who had the same problem. Is the accelerometer hardware different in the i800 and i920?!?

If anyone has a suggestion, PLEASE let the rest of us in on it.

Thanks!

FWIW, Marble Worlds 2 works fine on my 920 with the G-sensor. Nothing swapped.

I did find, though, L/R swapped when trying to play Asphalt4 with the HTC accelerometer compatability library.

Here's my guess: The newest SDK, necessary to support the 920, takes care of this problem. However, app-makers need to relink their apps to use the 2.1 lib, not the 2.0 lib to make sure this is fixed. Simply dropping the newer dll in place isn't enough.

That's a guess...

You can ask Ginkage to modify the .dll

Like he modified for b7610...(inverse problem fixed)

Message him... ;)

MANY thanks to Ginkage!! Here's the solution for i920 owners:

1. Download Ginkage's modified dll below.

2. UnRAR the contents and copy HTCSensorSDK.dll to your Windows directory.

3. It worked for me without a soft restart, but it probably isn't a bad idea to do one anyhow.

4. Launch Bubble, Snakes, Teeter, etc. and enjoy!
