lost internet

I've flashed my omnia 2 with the official win mob 6.5 rom,i'm in the uk and had to set ssamsung p.c studio to singapore to get the download.

All went well,phone works perfect,apart from i cannot acess the internet.

I have a unlimited internet acess via my o2 tariff (pay as you go),all connection settings seems ok and i can call send and recieve txt / mms's.

I've tried getting new settings via o2 web site,which notifies me it cannot be done,i've tried getting settings by txt from phone and that fails too.

I went into the o2 shop and they downloaded new sttings from samsung mobile.co.uk. this works but only for a couple of minutes

then the phone seems to lose the settings. also this phone was brand new with no service provider software on it.
