Guest zyberace Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Is there anyone have seen GREEN SPOT in the center of camera and photo shot like shown in this picture? I am curious that this is common on Omnia II or just a problem with my phone. And if you guys don't mind, share your photo shot similar to this picture. Thanks guys
Guest Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 I have it too (i8000, bought in Poland). Looks like the HTC HD2 issue to me... Michal

Guest .:stn:. Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 if you want to compare anything first shoot the foto in the even light and make sure you test all iso speeds and/or modes if you ask other people for comparative test, state your conditions of the photo, lightning/iso/mode
Guest zyberace Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Just shoot plain white paper indoor w/o flash. Normal setting in camera and let's see. Actually I can notice green spot just when enter the camera mode before shoot at something and can obviously see it on plain color object like wall, paper etc. in low light condition. I noticed that some photo posted by someone here have the green spot as well but I forget what topic it is in! Maybe I will give a link when I find it again.

Sorry Pepeto for not asking for permission. You can't take such picture, fluorescent lamps dye photos green incadescent yellow/orange, If ther's a mix of those surely camera won't be able to compensate it.. and yes compenstate so this means the conditions are far from usable for the purpose of tesing. Want to test anything take white/grey paper ans shoot it in natural goood light conditions. Maske sure WDR and ANTISHAKE are OFF
Guest zyberace Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 (edited) Stn: Thanks for your suggestion about compensation thing. Actually, I mean not for serious testing, I just try to tell that my device have green spot appears always at the center since open camera mode even before shooting a photo and it is easier to notice when you view indoor and harder when outside but it's still there but more difficult to notice. So I just ask if someone can take an easy shot on white paper and post here to see whether the green spot is common thing in Omnia 2 or not. Coz my previous device, Touch Elf, doesn't have this kind of thing. Thanks. Edited February 11, 2010 by zyberace
