Hello All, and thx Disc0 for your great work ;)

I try the 1ghz version but my phone reboot randomly, its seems OK with the 765 version.

I do not have a "clean" rom installed but some moded one from Angio and with the lickonn update on it. Do you think it can be the reason ?

just tried this "MT"enabled gmaps 4.0.0 ... MT doesnt work there ;), but buzz seems to! and you can install it besides the regular maps

disc0, the problem may be the voltage of the CPU? You can set the CPU voltage? me that maybe one of the Nexus?

Well I'm sure it's a voltage issue indeed, as when we overclock our CPU, we need to up the vCore to stabilize the CPU. But this involve two things : more warm and more energy (so less battery efficiency), so I'm not sure it's a win/win situation.

to me with a 1GHz CPU's not bad I kept for at least 1 hour and a half under stress and then I freeze it in nemo player, but I also played a raging thunder, war Toonz, play heavy and I would say it hasn't crashed, Linqpack, neocore benckmark and nothing, everything ok then while nemo player I opened a folder of photos and crashes, reboots for nothing ...

now its 10 pm... there has been 3 crashes

not that often, but still crashes... is it possible to up the Vcore? is it possible to have speeds between 768 and 998?

might as well bump it to 1.2GHz as well lol

MT on these Donut ROMs, which have backported MT bits from Eclair

In our case, it s not an import but a trick to obtain multipoint, so, it s normal that it doesn t work...

I have changed from 768Mhz version to 1G version Kernel 2 hours ago.

It runs very stable for my Hong Kong Acer liquid mobile with 2.00.13AAP rom.

I just put the kernel and the gallery have some miror "bugs"...

My Liquid is from December (rear the batt)

This issues only appears when i force the system, moving the gallery very fast, and meny times... but occurs.

Maxima 2.000.16 rom, Lickonn recovery, superboot.2.000.16.kernel.based...

sorry my nefast english... ;)

EDIT: I just try the second 1ghz img and happens again... i´ll try with a clean rom.

This has nothing to do with disc0's kernel/bootimg.

These phones seems to have more problems under the surface then should be allowed...

Once again, you are doing a great work disc0, lets hope all bugs on/in the phone will be sorted out in some update later on and that Acer will release the working kernel-source so we can get stable phones.

I'm wondering if there could be a possibility to have an application like SetCPU that enables profiles. Because now that 1ghz is enabled, SETCPU doesn't have the right informations about the Liquid and only proposes up to 768mhz...

Update: I flashed the 765 Mhz image and now everything is fine. My Liquid is a European and black.

I join the line with people having problems with the 1GHz ROM. Freezez and reboots at random. European version.

Well, I got today a reboot when set setcpu with performance governator and clocked it to 1GHz :\ ..

@disco a litle tip.liquid use less cpu voltage than nexus one cause its clocked on 768 instead of nexus on 1gh.Can u check on some way if voltage raise on liquid's 1gh?Its normal on having issues if liquid use 768 voltage on 1gh.

The cpu voltage is already on 1.25 volts (think its the same on nexus). I think that increasing it more would not be a good ideia! :\

You can use setcpu to put it in 768 - 998 but your would not get many time of battery ..

You can put a text file with the name setcpu.txt in you sdcard with this content:

245000,384000,576000,768000,998400

and then in the device selection select the last mode. (or just select nexus one ;))
