Only 80 mb of ram free? / cpu speed

The omnia II is supossed to have 256 mb of ram, right? is it true it only has 80 mb of ram free? ;) what about the cpu, is it the same cpu as the samsung jet( 800 mhz) or a 600 mhz cpu ?

80MB is average amount of free RAM for WM6.5. Some lite ROMs have 90MB+ free RAM. Other RAM is reserved or used for some other purposes.

The CPU speed is 800MHz, same as the Samsung Jet.

So you´re telling the omnia II has the same amount of free ram as the htc hd 2? - which has 488 mb of ram- no matter how much ram the device has we´ll only get 80 mb of free ram?

yes because the ram is reserved, for the phone/camera components

Samsung Jet CPU is made by Qualcomm, whereas Omnia II CPU is made by Samsung itself. Yes, both r running at 800Mhz.

its weird !! with secany`s roms get 25mb of ram !! with lite i get around 50+???

but if the htc hd 2 has only 80 mb of free ram what does samsung have to do with that ? it seems like a windows mobile problem
