HI ALL IF YOU WERE SMART AND YOU UNLOCKED YOUR TG01 FROM THAT ORANGE YOU MAY JUST NEED THE SETTING IVE PUT ON THE THIS THREAD.

HOPE IT HELPS !

O2 GPRS settings (WAP):

Note: Different settings for contract and PAYG (Pay as you go)

I think you can just go to network settings, something like that and it automatically sets your phone to the specific network settings you have.

I did that with my o2 network and it automatically gave the settings.

yes true when you pop your new sim card in it should 9 times out of ten load settings but when i put my three chip in it would not let me use mms untill i entered it maualy.

i was just adding it in case it happends to a orange escape lol.

Finally unlocked my tg01 yesterday and im now back on my favourite network three. The only problem is I can't access mobile.three.co.uk I keep getting a dns error - hostname unavailable. Has anyone managed to get this working ? I can still access my three only its through the standard three.co.uk which uses more data so idealy im looking to get the mobile version of planet three working. any ideas ?

a quick question were did you get your tg unlocked ? was it orange or a man down town ?

I'm using Three & had an issue - it would only get a data connection when the phone had a 3G or H signal, but not when on GPRS.

I managed to fix it by going to Phone, selecting Menu, Options, Network & then set to manual. First use Find to Find Three UK, then use Set Networks & eventually it'll give you a big list of Networks. I had to deselect a whole bunch of foreign networks & then select Three UK.

Now it will data connect using GPRS...

I emailed this guy, sent £10 via paypal and 2 minutes later i had my code :-).

But i havent noticed the data connection dropping at all, GPRS seems to work for me its just i cant access the mobile version of planet three :(.

well on my tg01 when i used a BACKSTREET BLOKEY to unlock it it now say in internet mms --- spice PUNJAB INDIA --- AVION TURKY ????????

I DONT CARE IT,S NOT USING ANY EXTRA DATA ECT I AM TOLD IT IS TRICKING THE PHONE TO BELIVE IT,S IN IT,S OWN COUNTRY BUT WE ARE IN BLIGHTY ??
