Guest c3p9 Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 I've been trying to enable MMS send/receive on my device. Since I flashed my I8000L to kstans UL 6.5.5 ROM I haven't been able to use MMS. I've noticed the following registries are changed: 1) HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\MsgTypes\IPM\Note\DLL emform.dll change to htmlnote.dll 2) HKCU\Sofware\Microsoft\Inbox\MsgTypes\IPM\SMStext\DLL mms.dll change to htmlnote.dll I've switched both registries back but now I can't send any message at all. I've checked the \windows folder and emform.dll is missing. Can anyone upload it so I can try it out?
Guest Dado... Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 (edited) on my O2 found only this (attached in zip file) but i had also problems with send MMS (receiving is OK) after contacting support center, he gave me this instructions to configure MMS options and now working OK Start / Settings / Advanced Settings / Connection / Browser Connection / Automatically detect settings Start / Settings / Advanced Settings / Connection / Advanced / Select Networks / Programs that automatically connect to the Internet should connect using: Select My Internet and select Edit under this you must add (if not exist) data for your broadband connection Under Proxy Settings tab also you must set (if not configured) restart O2 to make changes active contact your operator support phone and ask configuration for Omnia 2 for MMS... this is best solution...emform.dll.zip Edited February 14, 2010 by Dado...

Thanks Dado. I actually have these two files under Windows. I didn't check that Resco Explorer was set not to show ROM files... but thanks anyways. At least now we know problem isn't in emform.dll. Four questions: 1) With your current configuration are you able to send/receive MMS too or just SMS? 2) What are the values for the registries bellow: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\MsgTypes\IPM\Note\DLL HKCU\Sofware\Microsoft\Inbox\MsgTypes\IPM\SMStext\DLL 3) I don't have: Start / Settings / "Advanced Settings" - are you talking about Samsungs custom settings or the WM default? 4) Which ROM are you using? Thanks again for the great help!
