Atleast in an older interview they told that "Liquid will have multitouch depending on OS version" so I'd reckon it is in.

Besides it'd be rather strange if it isn't.

this is a joke if this is how acer plans on selling phones... like windows mobile sell one with outdated software offer no up dates and push same phone with newer software .... but either way cant wait for release so we can get it :-)

Well, they didnt think the phone was going to do that well to begin with, they ran out of stock. Due to demand they have updated and started manufacturing on a larger scale.
