WM 6.5.x media player w/Gapless Playback

I'm really liking my Omnia II, but am looking for a good media player application that also supports Gapless Playback (the default Samsung Touch Player doesn't). A few I've tried:

- PocketMusic 5.2 (works fine with WM 6.5, but will not work with 6.5.3/6.5.5 (upon install, I just get a white screen)

- PocketPlayer 4.1 (eats up way too much memory, especially when rebuilding the library)

- S2P (if I have the display off and it switches tracks, I get a really horrible noise through my headphones).

Any ideas on this one? I listen to a fair bit of mix discs, and gapless is definitely required. If I can't find a good solution, i'll probably end up sticking with my stock WM 6.5 build and using PocketMusic.

By gapless I assume you mean lossless? Mortplayer has a flac plugin available. Good app all around. Gesture support for track and playlist change. Album art. TONS of customizations most people will never need/use. Light on resources. From the guy who authored Mortscript, which is pretty much ubiquitous now. Google it.

Devhux, I also agree with you about Gapless Playback, unfortunately, I still didn't find any player yet. About S2P issue, I also got a horrible noise from it after the screen off and the track was switched behind. So, currently, I've changed to Nitrogen. It works great. Do you try it?

I actually meant gapless like no pauses between tracks. For example, if I have a live concert album, I don't want a 2-second pause in between tracks.

Haven't downloaded Mortplayer to see if it actually supports Gapless playback or not yet.
