Is there anyway to extract the hero clock from the 1.5 rom?

Im on 2.1 kagudroid and miss that widget. theres a similar one on market and its too big for my liking. I cant fit extra icons on the left and right if i have it positioned in the centre.

If its possible how do i get it it?

try to copy it over, preferably a de-odexed or non-odexed version.

my guess: won't work. i am actually trying to port the flip clock to 2.73.x, i have it working, but with some strange results.

can you give more detail on this please?

find a 1.5 rom which is not odexed or has been deodexed (no odex files in /system/app).

then get the clock (if you want the widget it is /system/app/HtcClockWidget.apk) and put it to your 2.1 rom.

it most certainly will not work, so don't get your hopes up too high. and remember you need a sense enabled rom for sense widgets, afaik you are down villain rom...
