Guest micscal Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 Tanks Evil, it's first time i use your rom, you made a really good job you are a great!!!
Guest da900 Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 Great ROM, eViL, as ussual. But there's one mistake in your discription of changes in 1.6.7: e-mail is not added back, but News and Weather App is added back. <_< P.S. I have one question to you: are you going to make a ROM with multitouch support and/or with higher CPU rate (for example 1GHz)? Thanx a lot for your work.

Guest da900 Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 (edited) Testing your new ROM during last 2 hours. It's great. But, how can I return native eclair contacts and dialer, as in your 1.6.3 slim ROM? Edited March 9, 2010 by da900

Guest da900 Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 Hrmm, are you sure email is not there? Looks like it to me.... anyone else? Yes, I'm sure. But I flash e-mail.zip you have posted before.

Guest eViL D: Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 Yes, I'm sure. But I flash e-mail.zip you have posted before. Ok.... I see it in the update and on my phone..... I guess I'll have to flash to "double" check. <_<
Guest casper326 Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 Hello,I found that a lot of game can't fill to full screen after flashed 1.6.7. I'm using LCR 1.1.1 before. Does anyone have the same problem??
Guest verser233 Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 Hello! What about the speed and stability on 1.6.7? Does this version support app to sd? Thx in advanced?
Guest da900 Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 (edited) use: adb remount adb push contacts.apk /system/app I made as you have written. But nothing changed. Contacts did't become as in your 1.6.3 ROM. I even performed hard reset. And nothing didn't happen than. What have I done wrong? Could you write step by step, please? <_< P.S. Thanx, but there's no need no more. Replace Contacts.apk in 1.6.7 with Contacts.apk from 1.6.3 by using "SU File Manager & Terminal". Everything is working fine (for the first look). Edited March 10, 2010 by da900
Guest Quipeace Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 (edited) Hey, I just noticed that the leaves in the water live wallpaper don't render properly, they show up as white squares with leaves in them. Probably something with the transparency. I can't remember if this was also present in 1.6, sorry about that <_< Edited March 13, 2010 by Quipeace
Guest linuxluver Posted March 11, 2010 Report Posted March 11, 2010 (edited) v1.6.7 -> Awesome ROM! Voice search works! Soooo close! *Nearly* kept it on my phone.....but the Market access was not adequate. Couldn't see Drocap2 or Barcode Scanner.....and they were in the first 5 I looked for. Looked at the build.prop and didn't see the usual nnnnnn.nnnnnn to modify....So tried Market Enabler 3.0.8. Tried T-Mobile US and NL. No good. Still couldn't see a lot my paid-for apps, like Camera ZOOM FX, so had to wipe it and go to LCR v1.1.1 where I can see everything. If you can sort out the Market access, I'd be LOVIN' your ROM. Guest huffman416 Posted March 11, 2010 Report Posted March 11, 2010 Hi im sorry im very new to android, but i will be purchasing the Acer Liquid A1 and i wanted to know what is the best 2.1 rom for it. This looks pretty good, but i also saw a youtube video of a rom called angio 1.7 which was also android 2.1. From what i can tell this rom is a modded version of the one that comes on the Acer Liquid e, and it has been ported to work on the original Acer liquid A1 because they are basically the same hardware. Before i buy the acer liquid a1 i want to make sure there is a 2.1 rom that works smoothly, so please let me know what the best one is!! Thanks for your help, and i apologize for my lack of knowledge! -Huffman

The Liquid WILL get an official update to 2.1 in the coming months, so there isn't a need to worry about not getting 2.1.
Guest linuxluver Posted March 11, 2010 Report Posted March 11, 2010 (edited) I think you can add this line yourself <_< I'll look at that! :-) The posts I could find all talked about the value of the parameter and did not include the entire line. So no idea of correct syntax and wasn't sure using Donut parameter in Eclair would be appropriate (tho - who cares? I have a backup! ) Will do today. Your ROM 'felt' more stable than LCR..... I've looked at the LiquidE spec and it seems to be identical to the A1...but in a different case.
Guest linuxluver Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 (edited) I'll look into it a little more. You can backup your paid apps and then reinstall them if you wanted. I amended the value for "ro.build.version.incremental" to be 100212.180250 (as in LCR). Made no difference whatever. Still can't see my apps. When I get home and probably after supper, I'm going to compare the two build.props (LCR & eViL D) to see what the other differences are. I agree I can back them up and re-install them. But I'm curious about how this all hangs together...so will play with it for a bit. Thanks! :-) Edited March 12, 2010 by linuxluver

I'm trying to narrow it down, but having to chase kids and fix the house too.
Guest linuxluver Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 build.prop is only part of it. I'm trying to narrow it down, but having to chase kids and fix the house too. No pressure! :-) Whatever....whenever. I have alternate means and methods. I'm just messing around and your ROM looks like the best one so far but for the app issue and there are work-arounds for it. Thanks for thinking about it at all.
Guest Borkata Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 (edited) Maybe this can help for market <_< http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=641564 Of course we should edit 2.1 apk  Edited March 12, 2010 by Borkata
