When I click on more htc widgets it says unable to download. Also, when I try to put the bookmark widget from htc, the pictures of the actual sites aren't portrayed as they are in the widget folder. Anyone please help. Thanks

Guest DistortedLoop Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 i and others appreciate your feedback and we should consider the potential impact of restoring data used on different ROMS. my point is that most cooks recommend wiping when coming from a different ROM. it seems to me that restoring data from a previous ROM to a different ROM negates the data wipe before flashing... ok, i digress, lol. I can see your point of restoring SYSTEM data from a different ROM, but I don't believe restoring apps or app data should be a bad thing, unless this ROM is putting them in a different place and the backup program can't figure it out on restore. You wipe when switching from cook to cook to make sure there's no system stuff left around that would conflict, but apps should be a different issue. I'd be interested in Paul's take on this.

Unfortunately, when I connect the N1 to my PC it doesn't ask me for what I want to do (USB mount, HTC sync...) Is this a known issue ? Also, do you a way for do not ask for PIN code when we exit plane mode ? thx Yes, this is a known issue that we're working on fixing. P

Anyone please help. Thanks This ROM is not even officially out yet. HTC has not made any additional widgets for anyone to download. The bookmark widget not showing pictures is a known issue in this ROM. I'm sure it will be fixed in the future.

I changed the build in email to a blue light and I get a blue light with Exchange email and a magenta one for Gmail. it works fine and i do not have the pro version.

I would be back using the iPhone and would have ditched my Nexus One by now (due to the heavy need for very good Exchange Synch) if it wasn't for this ROM. Not that I wanted to go back to the iPhone, but I couldn't live with Moxier and the stock android Nexus any longer. This ROM is simply awesome work and I am very impressed. Basic question for those that have managed to sync Facebook for Sense with the Desire contacts apk - does the sync icon just stay in your notification bar at all times or does it eventually disappear?

Sorry if this is a stupid question yes its posible im sure of it but idk if paul is going to add it. why dont you just push it to your phone it does work with desire rom i used it in alpha 12 personally i prefer the kernel that paul is using it this rom
