Guest jiggs817 Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 No, your purchases are linked to your google account. noob question again: how does it actually work? i mean, flash to custom rom then sync to gmail? thanks!
Guest Docmjldds Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 I don't want to hijack this thread with a Seidio discussion, so I've started a new thread here: http://android.modaco.com/index.php?s=&...t&p=1216384
Guest anthdroid Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 # Hi anthdroid! I found Paul's post on page 122, copied the file to the sd card and wanted to move it to system framework. I have tried it with astro file manager but can copy it only within the sd card and not to the sytem framework. Any suggestion how to move it to the destination file? Thanks. anthdroid - extract this - http://content.modaco.net/framework.jar.notrackball.zip - and push it to /data/system-framework/. DO THE FOLLOWING FROM THE PHONE I downloaded right from my browser, used Astro to unzip and Android-Mate to move to /data/system-framework. Rebooted and it's working wonderfully. Paul, is this an example of what the custom uploader in the Kitchen will be able to handle? If so, i'll just hold onto this and keep baking it in! So you can do it my way, or use the Kitchen to bake a Rom with that piece pushed to the /data/system-framework/ directory. Good Luck! If you have everything the way you want it, you can just use my way- a word of caution though, sometimes that Android-Mate doesn't prompt you for root the first time (your device is rooted, right?). Im a newb too, so if anyone feels the need to correct me, go for it! <_<
Guest lars1110 Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 HTC Sense Live Wallpaper coming to the kitchen tomorrow! <_< P i cant wait
Guest Docmjldds Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 I don't understand the question really? <_< P Maybe I misunderstand how this all is working here. I had assumed that you are basically trying to reverse engineer an early ROM release for the HTC-Desire to work with the N1, which is basically the same hardware. That said, if the a working production ROM is about to be released in 2 weeks, then why try to work any further with this current preproduction Rom, assuming that in two weeks or so, there will be a working release to play around with. Or is my "noobiness' for lack of a better term, reflect my mis- understudying of how you accomplish a working ROM.
Guest Cyberdelia Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 Live Wallpapers only in the kitchen? no alpha 15?

Tomorrow comes out the new edition.. Like they do for 4 years before they redesign the body again. Now, this new release only has tweaks here and there to adjust to what people have requested and what they have pioneered. My example is the best.. I have a 2008 and 2010 only changed the front LED that I have, and, the rear lights which changed to A4 styled format. Nothing different right? Wrong, much has changed. Engineering is a daily event. Not a leap. Or an innovation, nor a invention. It is a confirmation of what works and what doesn't. It displays the further existence in that product. The growth of that product, as it is for Paul, this is a product.. See everyone works on Reg builds and Paul has been known to get the SPECIAL PROJECTS.. Which he does flawlessly.. Every step can be a discovery more than what the desire build can offer itself.. Nothing changes. It just grows, get it? From here everything is always a plug and play event to what the Dev deems safe and dependable, not, whats preety and most asked for.. Trust me, my words account for his on this.. As it does for all App and Rom devs.. I hope this helps.. GD

Seriously, how is this not obvious? It is common sense. On the first post where it says to click "this post" to get the kitchen it just sends me to the main page of the site. I am logged in and paid $10 to become a member. Anybody have and ideas how I can get kitchen on my nexus running alpha 14? Turn off NoScript for this site. It's in the second post of this thread.

Guest christonge Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 Morning Paul, Is there any chance you could add the disable trackball notification option into the kitchen? I know, I'm just being lazy but would be nice to have the option in there from the start ;-) Cheers mate, Chris
Guest brenoit Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 hi i want to stop mails notifications, i configure it in settings but still flashing thanks
Guest lilHermit Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 Trackball flashing 1) I've just tested email and it flashes correctly and cancels when I either pull down the notification curtain or click the envelope icon on the home screen. Tested with and without Trackball Alert. a) Are you referring to inbuilt email or gmail? <_< anyone else experiencing this? 2) "Flash stops after 5 minutes" also tested this and its still flashing for missed call 20minutes later. So I cant see an issue there either. If anyone has any more information regarding this issue we'll look into it further. ~ lilHermit
Guest brenoit Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 i downloaded your great app yesterday but even if i disable mails notification on your app it still flashes green every 1 or 2 sec i'm talking about inbuilt mail (yahoo) thanks
Guest lilHermit Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 (edited) i downloaded your great app yesterday but even if i disable mails notification on your app it still flashes green every 1 or 2 sec i'm talking about inbuilt mail (yahoo) thanks The tick box does no disable the flash, it tells Trackball Alert not to intercept it. So therefore you will get what the default is within the app. ~ Edited March 16, 2010 by lilHermit
