Ah yes, I didn't reply because I didn't have an answer.

Simple things first, have you checked your APN settings?

P

Yes sir, I took care of all that. Played around with APN settings, different configurations, all that good stuff. I'm a newb on this forum but I've been on XDA for a while so I'm pretty decent with troubleshooting. I have never had any problems like this.

I did a quick test for the new 'bake in' feature of the kitchen.

I was successfully able to bake in a custom transparent status bar into the ROM :)

with respect Paul is answering questions from both forums and fixing ' stuff ' at the same time. :)

Understandable. Sorry about that Paul.

DO THE FOLLOWING FROM THE PHONE

So you can do it my way, or use the Kitchen to bake a Rom with that piece pushed to the /data/system-framework/ directory.

Good Luck!

If you have everything the way you want it, you can just use my way- a word of caution though, sometimes that Android-Mate doesn't prompt you for root the first time (your device is rooted, right?).

Im a newb too, so if anyone feels the need to correct me, go for it! :)

Hi Anthdroid

Thanks for your message. In the meantime I have downloaded alphe 15 and everything is fine with the notification (led on, trackball off). Have a good evening. Regards from Zurich Markus

I don't think the 'automatic brightness' feature is working...at least, not for me.

I've tried different brightness settings and toggling the checkbox doesn't appear to change it one way or the other.

Paul .. As many have requested about being not flashing the upper led when used as notification after alpha 11 , i think that u said it was just a small change and it would be fixed.. BUt you have missed or just left the same as before as it doesnt flash.. i mean stays on always on for notifications.. So isit possible to fix this as i baked one hoping that this will be fixed as i'm not a fan of trackball..

Hope u can fix it..

Thanks

Check It.. !

The Lil Hermit addition is for your enjoyment.. Have fun.. Gmail, Mail, Twidroid, etc.. etc.. Trackball!

The LED was basically brought back to the N! format..

So, the led light, lights green when a new message comes in, stays lit until you slide your notifications bar down.

Shows missed call, plus this has settings under call and messaging internally within the rom, to change the functions of just the top right led light.

hope that helps..

Apps2SD..

It is auto buddy..

It is ran automatically, I dont use it.. But, if your card is partitioned correctly, and then you bake this in, then you flash, then you boot, then reboot, then YOU SHOULD be in the money..

hi buddy, i've partitioned my sdcard properly using ext3, confirmed it is working with nexDesire rom after i enabled apps2sd, the internal phone storage is the same size as my ext3 partition.

apparently with this rom i still see it is 153MB in the internal phone storage which i assume indicate apps2sd not working correctly? cmiiw

May be u just misunderstood my post.. I never said it wasnt showing.. may be u havent seen the way it blinks when notifications arrive.. after alpha 11 it just stays on WITHOUT blinking or flashing... maybe u did'nt notice but paul will know what i mean

I don't understand anything of this. Please put it in the simplest form. I don't know what adb is or where to find Android tools folder.

If you don't use adb then you can't do it.. find a how to on adb or wait for someone to make a flashable theme.. sorry

dont forget this rom is about 123mb

try installing a few apps and see if any changes to the internal storage memory

Yes sire.. It is there.. You can explore if i am right.. With root explorer. This will show you your savings on your card.

Then, there is no need to enable.. It is auto..

I wiped and reinstalled the ROM.

Livewallper and Photo selection is still inverted.

I should point out in the interest of full disclosure that I did flash my data.img after the wipe.

However, this shouldn't matter right, as the reflashed data shouldn't directly affect the configuration/wallpaper settings.

Should it?

EDIT - My auto-brightness seems to be working properly now too.

Thanks for the help.. I have the knowledge but not the hands on with the a2sd. I use others, to work my magic, ADB pull is the best in my opinion. I save internally and on my mac. So I have a folder with every paid/free app I have ever laid a hand on.. Then it also works easier since it replces and overwrites any older versions..

There are many, many, and I mean many ways of going about this.. a2sd is the easiest to those who deem it so..

Thanks Stealth..

Your right, its not how you start, it how you finnish (finish) lol..

It might.. Some settings, Locations are there..

Not everything but for some..

Try and clean out, wipe data and dalvick and then flash.. tell us then..

Make it like a fresh start..
