Guest Paul Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 UPDATE: With a baked one without A2SD the boot goes fine. A no-go with A2SD included. Can you have a look Paul? Could you reflash with the A2SD script, and when it's looping, post the output of the following? adb shell ls -l /data adb shell ls -l /system[/code] Cheers. I can confirm i'm running the A2SD script here successfully, but doing a manual push. I must have missed something in the kitchen! P

Guest Robert Davidson Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 Anyone else not having any luck sending/receiving MMS? Yes, I've discovered that my MMS messages are not sending, when receiving im getting the goto web to download notice,
Guest Paul Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 ext2, ext3 and ext4 should be supported in the kernel. My A2SD partition is actually ext3 currently. P
Guest Ducter Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 Yes, I've discovered that my MMS messages are not sending, when receiving im getting the goto web to download notice, Same deal for me, thank you for confirming. I get a download button but it does nothing. When I try to send a MMS I get "general network failure" although regular text go just fine. I have pushed the original Mms.apk over, made no difference, I have just wiped and reinstalling 8 from scratch to see if that changes anything. Will report back when completed.
Guest jdoo Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 Could we get an option to opt out of having SSH installed in the kitchen? Also, I got a little too excited about cutting out stuff I dont use (flickr, facebook, twitter, etc) and ended up in a situation where going to settings->accounts & sync would cause a forceclose. I guess certain services are required :(

I got some problems during installing the ROM; please take e look at this... what can I do? although I wiped several times, i got the same problem...shall I eliminate the Radio from Kitchen options ? That sounds like you've tried to apply it twice without rebooting inbetween to actually APPLY the radio image. P

Guest Paul Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 Any idea on MMS Paul? Not specifically - nothing has changed between a7 and a8 in that regard! So you can't send or you can't receive? Are you sure your APNs are set up correctly? P
Guest Ducter Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 Not specifically - nothing has changed between a7 and a8 in that regard! So you can't send or you can't receive? Are you sure your APNs are set up correctly? P Yes, they are set correct. I can not send or receive MMS on 9, I could on 8 just fine. Gonna head back to 8 and see what happens. I originally did a no wipe to 9, with MMS not working did a full wipe then installed 9, still no go.

Are you sure your APNs are set up correctly? P I am using the same APN's that I got to work when I first got the Nexus, they have worked on every rom up until now, very strange.
Guest kkempe Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 sorry.... nevermind, thanks for changing
