A big thank you to MoDaCo member '7500usr', who has amazingly donated a Nexus One and a Dock, which allows me to test dock functionality and also dedicate a device to development, rather than reflashing my main device. What a dude! :(

If anyone is interested, I have the stock Camera app running fine on the Desire ROM... which obviously means you can have working LED flash and 5 megapixel mode. Will post details when i've tested a little more... (note, it replaces the HTC app currently rather than running alongside it).

Edit: Have both Camera apps working concurrently now no problem.

anyone else notice this rom pulling more battery life than the stock nexus rom? I havent tested extensively yet but for right now it seems like it is, I'm wondering if I have to drain the battery completely then charge so the UI gets a handle of it.

thanks to all, but I think we can all agree that Paul earned this, days after the desire was announced he had us a ROM to mess with...Great work on his part and I know he put in tons of hours to get this in our hands.. The real thanks goes to him!!!

Yep... the battery life is terrible. I'm lucky to get to lunchtime at the moment in fact I've just had to plug it right now. The main problem for me seems to be the RSS news feed. However even with that disabled I'm only getting 5-6hours out of the battery (with push mail, browsing etc)

an UV kernel takes care of this a little, I would agree however that battery life is my largest issue right now.

Not really sure what manup did, but I have the flash working on my build now too.

any new dumps with an update to BT??? this one is killing me, I know there are a lot of work arounds but none have been stable for me, I can get devices to pair but drop connections while on a call, cant get reconnected, you know the stories.

No new dumps yet, but of course i'm still investigating that issue.

Great to have you back man! It's been boring round here without you.

So this is weird... has anyone else noticed that the HTC Camera app takes pictures at 3MP regardless of whether you choose a lower resolution? :(
