Is there anyway to get facebook NOT to sync all contacts but ONLY the contacts in my address book? I get the option on the stock ROM but not this one...

Yes there is.

Its in your contacts application settings.

You get the option to display specific contacts if you don't want to see all of them.

Why have I no root here?

There is graphical su app.

But there's not /system/xbin/su.

Graphical SU app hangs everytime it runs with empty black screen.

I apologize to the forum if this is a n00bish question, but how do I update my device currently running Alpha 5 to the latest one? Do I just put the ZIP on my SD card and use recovery mode to flash it? Is a wipe required?

That only works in the HTC People app, when I'm sending a text it shows the facebook people too

Also I can't use USB flash drive mode here.

This is a known issue...like for a long time now!

That's why Paul added the Mount USB application as part of this ROM.

When you want to mount your phone as a flash drive, just run the application.

Run it again to unmount.

Im using the old messaging app and still have the force quit errors. Hopefully in 12 it will be resolved.

Is it safe to just download and flash the radio update? I have refrained from doing it because I read somewhere that it can brick your N1 if you don't know what you're doing... is this true?

is Bluetooth fixed in Alpha 12? That's what I'm waiting for.... I drive too fricken much to not have bluetooth... Nevermind, you kept up the changelog and it's still an issue <_<
