Really??? Only over 2.200 post to be certain for real...I can't understand your sarcasm. I'm testing---->reporting. And your post is useless, it adds nothing.

<_<

Neither does your post, it's a known issue which Paul is well aware of and he doesn't need to be told something which isn't working and hasn't been fixed is still not working.

There was no sarcasm in that post

I disagree with you. It's not always easy to keep track of every singel issue and what Paul is aware of and not. It's not noted in A14 "Known Issues" for example. I'm with ascito on this one.

This has more to do with HTC mail than anything, but does anyone have their subfolders working when you set up and IMAP account? I had it working on the stock rom, but here, I dont' have access to them =/

With discoverable trick, Bluetooth works fine with my Motorola S9HD. Good stuff !!

I would like to report a bug not noted before in this forum. My capacitive buttons do not light up and even worse since A14 my trackball has become defective and changes color when I get an e-mail.

What trick? Please share.. I thought I read every page in this giant forum already and haven't seen anything about a trick...

Bluetooth is huge... I hope gets fixed soon so I can move over to this beautiful ROM for daily use!

if you press scan on the device, and about a few later press discoverable, you get the device paired and usable. Just check it out..

I just put the headset in discoverable mode. Turned on Bluetooth.started device search.Toggled make device discoverable and it found it. Leave discoverable on and pair. That's it.

interesting.. the farthest I got was to pair it up, but it won't connect... so I unpaired it and now it seems no matter what I do it won't even see the headset in pairing mode at all.... eh, I'm prob just beating a dead horse, I was hoping it was a "Trick" that would make it really work but I think I got my own hopes up, LOL. Thanks for the prompt reply guys!

I got it to do the same thing again, but it just seems like it doesn't want to fully work with my Plantronics Voyager Pro...dang...

uh oh....

i baked A14 in the kitchen and decided to use the new radio that's available when baking a new rom. ive done this on my G1 and MyTouch in the past but never on my Nexus One. i flashed it like i would any other rom (Nand/clean wipe). and after following the usual steps i rebooted to the white HTC screen and i can go no further. like i said, ive never messed with the radio on my Nexus One so i'm not too sure what i did wrong here. i hope theres an easy solution for this...trying to restore my nandroid backup now....fingers crossed!

ok i should have done this before posting buttttt i guess i was a bit freaked out and got a little anxious! nandroid backup loaded fine! how do i load this rom with the new radio in the kitchen? obv my last attempt was incorrect so a point in the right direction would be appreciated!

When I mentioned the cam zoom issue - I did state I wasn't complaining - I am doing my best to keep up with all of the posts, and did do a search before posting anything but there's over a hundred pages now, so I guess its easy to overlook something.

The last I saw Paul had said that the camera zoom didn't work at full resolution but did at a lower resolution - mine doesn't which is why I mentioned it in my post. Also my flash worked almost perfectly in a previous Alpha now seems further out of sync - although I know he is aware of this issue I thought I would mention it, simply as it worked better for me in Alpha 11.

If I have missed Paul mention that the zoom isn't working at all, at any resolution - then I apologise for posting something that everyone's aware of, but like the other guy said - Im just using it, testing it and reporting back my findings, and found it helpful that when others noted they had the same issue subsequent to my post .

The overall objective of my post however was to express my gratitude to Paul for his hard work, because I'm loving this ROM, and it just keeps getting better with each new release - all thanks to him. I hope that wasn't overlooked by my mentioning the zoom issue, when it was already known about.

Cooking a ROM with the radio added to the entire update package has always caused problems for me.

I would suggest you try flashing the ROM of your choice, rebooting and then flashing just the radio.

I'll bet you cash money this will work <_<

Look guys, you've all got good points, but easy or not to find, it IS a known issue.

We are 115 pages into this thread now.

Imagine how many more pages there would be if everyone who found it difficult to find a topic decided to post about it. It would be a nightmare to get anything done.

This is how I see it.

1. This ROM is an Alpha and that means its still going to be very buggy and yield some unpredictable results.

2. If you're using this ROM, then officially or unofficially, you're an Alpha tester. This is not a finished product and so we shouldn't have expectations out the Ying-Yang everytime a new ROM is released.

3. However, even I am guilty of mentioning problems over and over again, but only until Paul has acknowledged that he's aware of the issue e.g. my endless carping about Google Voice integration (Ooop! Just mentioned it again <_<)

4. The 'Search' button at the bottom left hand corner of the threads is a very useful tool and I use is all the time to search out topics I'm concerned about before I wind up spamming the forum. So if you have the time to cook a ROM, it stands to reason that you may have the time to do a quick search before updating a very quickly growing thread.

5. If in doubt, simply start your own topic. This is actually very helpful because it allows for discussion on your specific issue to be addressed and it doesn't cause complications.

6. Final Point. I really like this forum. I've been on too many forums where people tend to bicker and argue incessantly and a lot of vitriol gets spouted in the process. However we always tend to have a healthy debate here...even though we sometimes get a bit contentious.

Peace and love, everyone

I'm using the latest radio.

Its recommended with the new ROMs anyhow, but I've been using it for a while now with MCR, CyanogenMOD and the Alphas.

Signal holds up pretty well, but my 3G speeds are still atrocious, unfortunately <_<

How do I make the desire rom to pair with desktop dock please if anyone can tell me

Thanks

This rom flies! I'm loving it.

Couple of things:

-On the lock screen, the menu button unlocks the screen as well (HTC rom issue or did it happen on the move to nexus?)

-When you open the camera app the screen turns on full brightness. If you then lock the screen, the locked screen is in full brightness until you unlock, then it goes back to it's original set brightness

Otherwise, I haven't come across anything else. Thanks for the awesomeness

Mine, never worked since Alpha 9

I had the buttons lighting up with all the betas.

I then yesterday wiped and went back to stock rom to test out my N1 dock.

I then flashed alpha12 last night from a wipe and then flashed 13 over the top. 12 had the buttons lighting up but 13 didn't.

I then flashed 14 straight over the top. And then started working again. Wierd really. I have been using kitchen'ed roms tho as well - not just the

stock as I wanted the stock android messaging as HTC messaging was buggy.

Thanks, I don't know why Paul don't add this issue as a known bug at the first post, there are a lot of people with the same problem than mine.

So does anyone else's about screen, software show that its A13 even though I've installed A14 the noncooked one, the one thats generally offered? In the about screen it says A13, this is the first time thats been "left out"? Or is it my own ROM not being A14? Please confirm!
