Guest jebise Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 there are a few apps like google maps that i use and after a minute the screen shuts off, it get very annoying pressing the unlock button every minute if i don't want the screen to go into sleep mode. I use google maps sometimes on the road and it gets very dangerous coz i have to turn it on since it sleeps. So is there a way to stop it from sleeping if certain apps are running?
Guest MihaiP Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 the application itself should have such an option...
Guest levytv Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 there is a button - not easy to find. you go to the samsung settings. battery power - then scroll down to the bottom. there is a setting for turn off device. there is an option for always turn on. after pushing this button the screen will always stay on - you'll have to assign a button to make it sleep or whatever they call it.
